About Touchstone Center for Crafts
Touchstone Center for Crafts is a nationally recognized nonprofit with a 53-year history of supporting artists, creative entrepreneurs, and craft education. Touchstone’s main campus is located in Farmington, PA, but Touchstone is expanding into Ohiopyle, PA in 2026.
Touchstone is hard at work transforming the former Falls City Baptist Church into Touchstone by the Falls—a year-round arts, retail, and community hub that fosters economic growth and provides artists with a sustainable marketplace. Located in the heart of Ohiopyle’s downtown and within a tourism corridor, this high-visibility site will enable short format, multi-generational programming, community events, and increased artist retail sales.
Position Overview
Touchstone seeks a Touchstone by the Falls Site Manager to lead the launch and long-term success of its Ohiopyle location beginning in June 2026. This role integrates earned revenue generation with mission-driven place-making, ensuring the site operates as both a financially sustainable retail destination and a vibrant, creativity-centered community hub.
During peak tourism months, the position is highly customer-facing, focused on retail sales, visitor experience, and operational excellence. During the off-season, the Site Manager emphasizes planning, analysis, system-building, staff development, and coordination of inventory, programs, and partnerships.
This role requires someone in-person and includes nights and weekends as needed. A hybrid schedule may be possible off-season.
To Apply:
Please submit a resume, statement of interest/cover letter, and three references by May 15. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with the position remaining open until filled.
