All workshop participants must be 18 years or older except where indicated.
Registration Guidelines and Tips
- Class registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis.
- A 50% deposit and applicable registration fees are required at the time of registration (100% required for Date Nights).
- The balance of is due 30 days prior to the start of the workshop.
- Materials fees are in addition to tuition fees and are due in full at or before check-in.
- Registrants with unpaid balances cannot be guaranteed a space in a workshop.
- Classes fill quickly, so register for your favorite workshop(s) as early as possible!
- Waiting lists are created for all filled workshops.
Refunds and Cancellations
Touchstone makes every effort to run each and every workshop. However, the organization reserves the right to cancel a workshop for any reason. Touchstone will make cancellation notifications at least 14 days ahead of the start of the workshop. If a workshop cancellation occurs, students will be able to (1) transfer to another class or (2) receive a full refund.
Please remember, remaining balances are due 30 days prior to the start of the workshop. If any unpaid balance remains after the final payment due date, you will not be guaranteed participation in the workshop.
Contact the office as soon as possible if you wish to transfer to a different workshop. A transfer fee of $20 (per transfer) will be added to your final invoice. Transfers must be processed more than 30 days prior to the workshop start date for your original workshop; transfers are not permitted at or less than 30 days prior to the workshop start date and all balances will be due in full.
Nonrefundable Sessions: Date Nights/Pop Ups and Community Wood Firings
No refunds or credits will be issued for students wishing to cancel these registrations for the aforementioned sessions, regardless of when the registration/payment was processed. Transfers for these sessions will be considered; contact the office to discuss potential transfers and associated fees. If Touchstone cancels one of these sessions, students will be able to transfer to another session (transfer fees will not apply in this instance) or receive a full refund.
Refunds & Cancellations for All Other Workshops
Refunds will be issued for registrations that are cancelled by a student more than 30 days prior to the workshop start date, less a cancellation fee equaling 20% of the full regular tuition cost, regardless of any applied discounts. Registrations cancelled by a student at or less than 30 days prior to the workshop start date will not receive a refund or credit of any kind. If Touchstone cancels a workshop, students will be able to transfer to another class (transfer fees will not apply in this instance) or receive a full refund.
Travel or Other Arrangements
Touchstone is not responsible for any nonrefundable deposits and/or fees paid towards travel or accommodations, including airplane/bus/train/other tickets, automobile rentals, baggage fees, hotel reservations, or contracts with rental services such as Airbnb, VRBO, etc. as well as any other related fees/expenses in relation to scheduled workshops, regardless of whether a workshop is held or cancelled.
Materials & Studio Fees
Materials and studio fees are charged to students based on studio usage and materials Touchstone is providing at the request of the instructor. Additionally, some instructors may require that you bring certain materials and tools with you, in which case a list will be provided. Final cost of these fees will be posted two weeks prior to the workshop to be paid in full at or before check-in. Touchstone is not responsible for any nonrefundable purchases of materials made for workshops, regardless of whether a workshop is held or cancelled.
